yeah, learn a little about actual witchcraft and what it actually is rather than condemning a group of people you know nothing about. The bible states many ridiculous things that are often taken out of context, like it being ok to stone women and beat children.
Secondly dont' give your power away to a wooden board and a plastic thing. It isn't evil but if you fear evil and believe in a devil with a pitchfork your subconscious can manifest all sorts of things by using it.

Little kids don't know who they are conjuring when they ask questions through a medium like Ouiga boards. They're innocent. And Jesus doesn't answer via Ouiga boards. We have a Bible that answers our questions for us when we follow Him, and He has given us the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us into all truth (John 16:13 and Romans 8:14 - there are more scriptures on this as well). So what is it that's moving that piece of plastic on that board? It's not Jesus! The only witnesses that bear testimony to Jesus are those found in 1 John 5:7 & 8.
Here are some scripture verses to look up that back up what your 19-year-old son says about this: Leviticus 19:31, Leviticus 20:6, Deuteronomy 18:10-12. There are other places that are even more graphic as to how God feels about this - especially in the prophets (the books between Ecclesiastes and the New Testament).

by potential of the time this answer posts, you need to have many critiques approximately what a Ouiji Board is or isn't, and whether or no longer it truly is evil. enable me relate a narrative of a pair of reports that I certainly have had and show you how to be the decide. I certainly have had Oracles' Crystals Crack in front of me as quickly as I asked the call of the Spirit that develop into answering, I certainly have considered different Oracles seeingly fly off of the board, and that i've got had the message NO save repeating for persons at an identical time as i develop into in basic terms contained in the room. The Ouija board seems to be a window (or a minimum of a concentration for persons to form a window) contained in the non secular international. the gentle we deliver to the window attracts all varieties of spirits the two benevolent and malevolent. permitting ones self to open your techniques to those spirits is an possibility for them to attach themself to an ingredient of your psyche. each so often this would not have any impact, and each so often.... properly .. You get the ingredient. i could be chuffed to debate this extra.

a Ouiga board is an object therefore only capable of the evil given to it. When someones atttacking me with a knife it is evil, if I take it away is it still evil.
I don't think so.

Dont worry, i am not going to tell you that you are going to hell
However here we go....
once again...
Step Away form the SPITITUAL DEVICE....
Oujia or Witchboards are powerful tools of divination that should never be "Played" with. Especially by the un-trained.
seriously, very bad things can happen. any spirit that you contact will probally be of a negative type and will tell you any lie that it can to get you to continue contacting it. their goal is to gain enough influence in your life to get you to accidently open a door for them into your home. the boarditself will open a door as soon as you use it, but a more perminent door will result with continued use. these spirits have a very long time to become very good at lieing and gathering information at a glance from a room.
as i said they are powerful tools for Witches and Pagans and should not be Played with. It is NOT a game and should not be taken lightly.
I am a Pagan Spiritual Cleanser (exorcist) and i usually end up closing the doors that people open by playing with what they do not understand. The Harvest Moon is the full moon that appears nearest to the autumnal equinox, which occurs on or about 23 September. This moon is also known as the Wine Moon, the Singing Moon and the Elk Call Moon. About once every four years it occurs in October, depending on the cycles of the moon.

No they are not. I believe they work through a persons subconscious. I have experienced with them off and on since 1964 and have never had the planchette move by itself or thrown across the floor and anything you hear about.
One reason I feel it works on our subconscious is a friend and I were using it and we asked it what another friends mothers favorite cuss word was and we were wrong, but the friend whose mother we were asking about when he sat down and asked the same question it gave the correct answer.
I have experimented many ways like this and it always comes up answering from the perspective of one of the people with their fingers on the planchette.

the oija board is not specifically mentioned and all other such referances should be judged by context as to whether or not they are relivant today. Some just have an idea and search for a scripture to back up their thought. Deplorable practice.
experience of mine with people who had played with same is that using one is a bad idea. It seems it can open a door to an unfriendly source of power you would be better off not knowing and that once that door is opened no one knows how to close it.

A piece of wood with a plastic doohickey? EVIL?? Come on.....
Ouija boards have proven to be nothing more than a game. Ask the person participating to blindfold themselves, and then turn the board 180*...and watch what they end up "spelling".. ..nonsense. It is simply a game. No evil.

If you are a Christian : They are condemned in the Bible. The ouiji board's premise is to contact the spirit world, and ask questions of them. The Bible condemns both divination (that is, to seek knowledge in a hidden manner) as well as necromancy (that is, to summon the dead and deal with them).
What could you possibly ask a dead man, instead of God? What could the spirit of a dead man know more than God?
Messing with the ouiji board... you're lookin' in the wrong place for answers. You honestly would be better off asking a complete stranger on the street. At least you know he's up to date, and isn't stuck with common knowledge from the Dark Ages.

I think Ouija boards are a Victorian era (19th century) parlor trick, and they're dumb fun.
HOWEVER...if you're Christian; whether or not you "fear" dark forces; you should find such things (at the very least) very distasteful. Consider what a ouija board is supposed to represent; a communication with spirits for the sake of hidden knowledge?
I don't fear "spirits" or "witchcraft". As a Christian I won't have such a thing in my home, though.
