I am in high school and my mom wants me to pack a healthy, well balanced lunch. The problem is, I have PhysEd right after lunch and we run a mile every day, so I don't want a lunch that is too "heavy". Any suggestions?

When I was in school I snacked all day from my backpack but that was many years ago. The link below should be helpful.

I would pack a turkey sandwich with cheese and pickle chips!I would also bring some type of fruit.Preferably strawberries they are delicious, and very good for you,and instead of chips I would bring pretzels or some kind of wheat crackers.

Can you eat part of your lunch and then finish it later? If you take a sandwich, eat the bread (carbs for energy) and the middle (i.e. turkey or tuna - protein) after class.
