ok, people with brown hair are called brunettes and people with yellow/goldish hair are blondes. soo WHY DONT PEOPLE WITH RED HAIR HAVE A NAME?!?!? if they already do can u tell me what it is? cuz this was just really bothering me today and i know its something stupid to get annoyed with, but whatever.

In Australia anyone (including me) with redhair is called "Blue".The classic Aussie reasoning is that it's bloody obvious it's red so call it blue.When you meet someone they sometimes actually say, G'day Blue!!!

Thats funny because I was wondering the same thing, and I was going to ask a similar question on here. As far as I can determine (as a red-head myself) we dont get a name for our hair color other than "red-head"..LOL
I thought it pretty strange until I tried to make a name for it.. redette just doesn't have the same ring to it as brunette, the best I could come up with was rougette..LOL and it sucks! I think we are simplly called red-heads because it sounds better than anything else....
PS if you want to be fancy tell people you are a Strawberry blonde..LOL

I propose the name Fireheads. This describes both the hair color and the passionate fury, love and fun they get into. The only problem with calling them Fireheads is that they might not like it. And if they don't, watch out!!!!

They DO have a name-- redheads! Guys know that red heads usually have lots of... um... drive. so every guy knows what redhead means... Guys have other names for redheads, but my answer would be censored if I put them here, got it...?
