how do you get to know someone at school who keeps eyeballing you?

i always see cute girls from other classes by that i mean grades in highschool eyeballing throughout me throughout passing period and stuff. i'd like to talk to them but just go up to them and say hi wouldnt that be a little awkward considering i dont even know their names?
