yes you can, if they have no white line it means it is not a legal driveway and they will not have planning permission when they converted it

I'm not sure what Country you are from, in the UK white lines are not needed to identify a private driveway, only a dropped curb and if you park across one expect a lot of hassle from the owner of the drive, they will also have the law on their side and could have you fined or towed by the local council or cautioned by the Police, so in the UK don't do it!

Don't be surprised if you find suspicious and unexplained damage to your car. Do you really think it's fine to block people in or out of their driveway? You obviously recognize it as a driveway. Don't be a self-absorbed jerk. Do the right thing, not what you perceive might be the legal thing. Don't use the law as your standard of morality.

okay James, let's see: you're watching the game. You run out of brewskis. Half time is near. You run out to your car to go to the store and someone has blocked your driveway because..."no white line identify legal driveway." Hmm?

Sure, if you want to be a jerk, and take a chance on having your vehicle towed off by the property owner who needs access to his property. The law basically looks at the "ordinary person". Would an ordinary person know that was a driveway?

If it is yr driveway then yes u can park accross it, otherwise no, its called an obstruction, i.e. u r stopping the person who lives/works there exit or entry onto their land.

if the driveway has a dropped kerb then no,but if it has not then you can park in front of it but if it has a car parked in the drive you can done for obstruction

I would not do it. You might get towed or ticketed. Plus, like others have said, it would be a jerky thing to do.
