Absolutely. As long as you are increasing your activity level, no matter how small or large, you will lose weight. Just be consistent, don't *reward* yourself with food too often— keep your eating habits the same or try to improve them and you'll see results before you know it.

YES! The key to losing weight is cardio or aerobic exercise and you've got it -- your treadmill! Stick to the treadmill on a very regular basis -- if your health permits it -- EVERY DAY. This will help you lose weight the quickest. Remember to exercise at an appropriate level and don't over do it...don't risk an injury! But also remember that you need to try to progress over time.
Combining cardio with strength training is a plus and try to do it at MOST every other day. You may be able to get away with every day but not with the same muscle groups.

The trick is to eat less than you burn. You need to know your daily calories burn. Also, keep down the junk food.
