As far as I know you can get free reports but you have to pay to find out your score.

You can't get your SCORE free without a catch. Some bureaus offer your score free with a 30 trial membership in their credit monitoring service. You can get your REPORT free from each of the 3 major bureaus once a year though https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp
This is the ONLY federally authorized site. The report does not include your score. The best place to by your score is http://www.myfico.com/
This is the company that computes FICO scores.

You can't, unless you find a site with a free trial that you can give a CC # to.

You can only get your REPORTS for free, not the scores. YOu can get the report once a year from each bureau at www.freeannualreport.com
