Explain that :
you are disappointed in his apparent lack of commitment to his work as a student.
You understand his need for R&R and diversion, but if his grades suffer it's down to him, and him alone.
You are prepared to support him, but he needs to show he's prepared to support his own work too.
He may have got into bad habits because of the Lecturers strike this year, which has really mucked up things for students, in that assignments were'nt being accepted or checked until the last minute.

What a d**k! Is he a kid or is he an adult? You are not his mother you are his girlfrirend and he needs to take responsibilty for his own actions. If he bitches at you again for it tell him it's his own stupid fault and deal with it himself like the adult he's supposed to be. If he stopped playing on the computer so much he might actually remember his homework! Tell him nobody's going to do it for him.

Ditch!! the loser, he'll only drag you down to his level of sheer laziness eventually. I would never dream of neglecting my girlfriend for the sake of a stupid computer game, but then again, I'm mature enough to know how to treat women properly. That's the crux of the problem, he's still very much a 'lad'. Until he mentally matures and realise he's ruining his career chances as well as jeopardising your relationship, he will have only himself to blame when he screws-up all that is going for him.
Sounds to me like he'd prefer to play that stupid game, rather than go to bed with his beautiful girlfriend (assuming here)...I know which one I'd choose, sex or PlayStation....urm???

its wrong to be dating a nerd who would rather play videogames than spend time with his supportive girlfriend. this is a sign of his character which WILL NOT CHANGE. its W.O.W. now, and when you two are married, its strip clubs and bars while you stay home with the in laws to watch the kids. find someone who LIVES LIFE, not someone who pretends to live someone elses life in a game.

who wants a useless bum of a man?
wasting education like that is really expensive in the long run & cost benefit wise, it leaves you worse off after uni than b4
he's too disorganised with his priorities .: there's little future there-

No it flipping isnt!!!!!
He needs to get his act togethter before he gets kicked out of the course.
Obviously this has been going on for sometime.... also, you have put up with it for sooo loooong, it has come to a point where he thinks its normal.
Threaten to leave him and convince him that this a 'wake-up call'...
Tell him "either pull your socks up or get out!!!!"
Put it this way, do u intend to put up with this long-term?
What happens if circumstances change and you become pregnant? Anything is possible in that scenario. Is he willing to help you?
Put your foot down and tell to alter his ways or leave.....
Just saying this for your own good.
Best of Luck.
