Kittens need their mom and litter mates for healthy development and socialisation. All responsible and registered breeders would not let their kittens go to new homes until at least 12 weeks of age. Never buy from backyard breeders or pet shops. Most of them are in it for the money, and not for the pure passion of it, plus the prices are definately not worth it!
If you're looking for a kitten with a specific breed and temperament, a reputable breeder in your area would be the best bet, don't forget to do some research on the breeder and ask questions as well. A good breeder would also work hard in preventing defective genes running in the bloodlines and will produce healthy kittens. It may seem pricey at first, but most breeders will tell you that they don't really get any profits in breeding. The price you pay for the kitten goes to vet bills, immunisations, health costs, food costs, spay/neuter costs, maintenance costs. Plus if you divided that sum over 15 years, it would pale in comparison to the priceless companionship between the cat and you. If you're not so particular about the breed, you could try www.petfinder.com as mentioned by the sweet girl above :) and get a kitty who would be eternally grateful to you for choosing her. :) The cost is a lot cheaper which includes spay/neuter, and companionship again...priceless.
Kittens are usually born with blue eyes which changes as they grow older. It's more common for white cats to have blue eyes, and sometimes only permissable in certain breeds.
Good luck in finding your furry companion. :)

You cannot adopt a kitten that young. Kittens need to be with mom until they are 8-12 weeks old, or they miss out on learning to be a cat.
Most grey kittens will eventually loose their blue eyes and have green or gold/yellow eyes.
www.petfinder.org - you can search for animals by location, age sex etc...
But in the winter it will be harder to find kittens kitten 'season' is usually april - october

2-3 weeks old is WAY to young to adopt a kitten. they need to be with their mothers until at least 6 weeks old, unless you plan on bottle feeding this kitten every 2 hours until it is able to eat solid food. Try www.petfinders.com for an appropriate age kitten to adopt

Well, kittens can't be away from their mom until they are 6-8 weeks old. So until 2 months is basically out of the question. Otherwise, where do you live? Try petfinder.com because they have awesome animals near you!
