I recently went to visit my family in Panama for the first time. While down there, I met somebody, but he can't speak English, and I can't speak Spanish. I mean, I like this boy a lot, and my cousins say he asks for me constantly. This boy has got me going crazy. I can't even get a good relationship going because I want to be with him. I've learned a lot of spanish since then, and I am frightened to call him, what should I do, what should I say? SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!

Have you thought about getting his address and writing him letters in Spanish? At least with a letter you'll be able to look up the words you don't understand without an awckward silence like in a phone call.

If neither one of you spoke each other's language, how do you know you like him so much?????
Just because he asks for you, doesn't mean you are the one...
Learn your Spanish until you are fluent..make another trip and then get together if you want and get to know him... Long distance things don't work and usually end up bad.....
Busy yourself with your life here... You were on vacation there...it was not real life... things are very differnt there, as you know...
It is nice to be asked for but dont' let your head get filled with big ideas. You are here , he is there.....
