Many Americans are racist and try to disguise it by saying that they don't want immigrants because they are invading and corrupting this country .

What would you do if you are brought (by your parents) to the US because you are dying of hunger in your country. You lived your hole life her, you go to school, face racism on a daily basis, and then learn that unlike your friends- you can never go to college, you can never have a good job (because they always ask for your status), you can never own anything like a car (no license), you can never be anything else but what your parents are, factory and field workers. And going back is not an option because you don't have anybody in your country.
It is very easy to judge what you don't understand, but I have many cousins in this situation , so what would you do if that person was you???

THE DIFFERENCE IS THAT IMMIGRANTS ARE NOT CRIMMINALS, THEY WORK MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER DO FOR A COUPLE OF DOLLARS. THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE SUPPORTING THIS COUNRTY BY KEEPING INFLATION DOWN SO YOU CAN BUY YOUR FOOD AND CLOTHES. IF IT WASN'T FOR IMMIGRANTS, THE GOVERNMENT WOULD NOT HAVE SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS, THEY ARE THE ONES MANTAINING IT. IT'S TRUE THAT THEY DON'T PAY TAXES, BUT IF THEY WERE CUALIFIED, CONSIDERING THEIR INCOME, THE GOVERNMENT WOULD GIVE THEM TAX RETURNS, AND INSTEAD THE GOVERNMENT IS KEEPING ALL THAT MONEY AND FUNDING IT TOWARD OTHER THINGS. IGNORANCE IS A CANCER AND YOU HAVE IT.

I agree with you. The hatred expressed by these people proves your argument. They immediately jump off the subject and begin namecalling and spewing racist insults. It's just racism, plain and simple. They can never make be believe otherwise. Racism against Mexicans, primarily.

It has nothing to do with racism for the 5 million 756th time. You know what...lets simplify...you absorb the cost of illegal immigration. Do you have 30-some odd million dollars lying around to harbor these criminals?

What the Mexicans should do is take a stand against their government. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but their president loves the fact that they cross the border illegally and send their money "back home". Mexico is not the desolate waste land you make it out to be. Their is poverty EVERYWHERE. Believe it or not there are individuals in our very own country who are poor and will "never own a car". There are some people living right here in the US that will live in apartments for the rest of their lives because they will never be able to afford a house. Guess what else...there are people in the US working in fields and factories too!! O'my goodness! WHERE ARE THE POOR OF OUR COUNTRY SUPPOSED TO RUN TO? Our government spends billions of tax dollars on illegal immigrants and this is the best sob story you can come up with??

It is all propaganda and bull. Stop falling for the "My family is starving." excuse because that is all it is.

I understand the position you are stating. I was born an American and can only express my point of view, so here goes. I'm not against Illegals entirely, I'm against the ones who work the system which comes out of the US taxpayer's wallet. I'm against the ones who refuse to learn english. Even the ones that know it, only speak spanish. I have had situations where the people knew english but when I was around, they spoke spanish, as to try and alienate me from the conversation. I think that's very rude and inconsiderate. For all i know, they are talking **** right in front of me. I understand the situation your cousins are in though. But i blame their parents. They knew how long it takes to become eligible for citizenship here so why didn't they apply for one for their kids when they were babies so they would be eligible by the time they were old enough to drive and work. Don't take this the wrong way, but I really feel that if they cared about their kids moving forward in life and taking it to the full extents that this country has to offer, they would have done just that.

Racism goes both ways-- I'm white (olive skinned tho) and I get plenty of racism towards me by Latinos. Just go to a part of town where whities don't show up.

If I were a kid of illegal immigrants I'd have to choice but to stick with my parents-- that's a dumb thing to bring out.

The illegal alien parents are the ones to blame and should go back to their own country-- then immigrate legally -- And when they're in their own country, they should find a job somewhere where they won't starve.

It is not the US's responsibility to deal with the poor of Mexico or other countries. Mexico and other countries need to deal with that.

US, should change immigration policy as well.

My parents immigrated from Italy to Australia to canada then to the US. Why, to find better work, life etc. They did so LEGALLY.

You already said illegal immigrants.Don't try to change your mind now.Illegal IS illegal. They are criminals. Both of my parents emigrated from Europe. They came to Ellis island and registered when they arrived.Illegal immigrants are criminals. You just can't see that because there is a conflOct;ict of interest.I've watched these criminals rob our system since I started in the construction trades over twenty years ago. They don't pay taxes and send huge amounts of cash and new clothing back to their families.Try swallowing all of those facts.
People who come to this country legally have my support provided they contribute to the system

First of all, if I was the parent, I would not have put my child in that situation where they are being forced to be involved in a crime. Second, if I was the child, I would be researching how I could become legal and explain my situation to whoever I am supposed to.

You got to understand that they don't have the mindset to think about things before they do them. They are commiting a crime and know that they are. They knew it from the start and knew it all along.

I don't care what country they come from, illegal is illegal.

Now if you are talking about LEGAL, I have no problem with that whatsoever and welcome all here.

I understand your point. These teenagers/young adults face huge injustices before they turn 18. Many realize by 13 that they don't have much of a future, so graduating from high school becomes unimportant. They are also more likely to experiment with gangs and drugs during those tumultuous teen years due to their disenfranchisement with the system. It is sad, I have seen brilliant minds go to waste for no fault of their own.

In short, just because the parents "could" cross that border, does not mean they "should" have. If you lock your doors, but I can pick locks, does this mean I can have anything in your house?

Ignorance of the law is no excuse. Yes it is heartbreaking that the parents cared so little for the law, and left their children in such a state. But it is also not the responsibility of US citizens to fund the crime. We are a pretty tolerant people - unlike the Mexican gov't, which turns death squads loose on illegal immigrants from Guatemala and other Central American countries down in Chiapas state, and is constantly teetering on the edge of another revolution.

During the depression in the Unites States, in the 30's people lost every thing they had no jobs, no food, no money for rent or housing, most were throwen out of their homes, and the traveled from state to state looking for work, people stood in bread lines and soup lines, just trying to get a little food, they worked their as*es off trying to get back on their feet, and they did that until they able to get a steady job, their were thousands out of work, and they sure as hell didn't go running to Mexico they stayed home and stuck it out, and waited for the times to get better, this is what happened after the stock market crash of 1929. The illegals that come here don't even try to find work in other states of Mexico they just come here, don't you think their are other states in Mexico that could have work for them, but they don't try to find it, they take the easy way out and come here and break our laws by crossing illegally and then working that is against the law if you are illegal, so that's two laws they have broken, and then they march and wave their Mexican flags saying how proud they are of Mexico, their proud of the country they fled from the country that gave them nothing, but mapes on how to get to the U.S. They come here and spit on our flag and demand to made citizens, refuse to learn English and our ways and say our culture is better than yours, and this is our contentint not yours bullsh*t! so we will not assimilate and we will not learn English, you change things for us, the illegal that have come here have been the worst immigrants that have ever come to the U.S. demanding things they have no right to. If you want to fly the flag of Mexcio then go home to Mexico you are not welcome. Yes their are other illegals that come here form other countries, but they are not the ones marching in our streets and waving the flag of their country, it is only the Mexicans that are doing that, that's why they are the worst. People that have come before have always wanted to be Americans, and assimilate and become part of our society and bring the good things from their culture, but the Mexicans that come just say, you change for us and we will fly our flag if we want to, and do what we want, will tuff luck I hope they deport every last one of you. Go back to Mexico with your parents, where you won't face any racism, and try to make something of your own country. And one more thing I have yet to see a starving Mexican coming over the border, they look pretty dam healthy to me, and if they were starving their is no way they can make it across the desert, so your starving story won't work. With a name like Maria your from Mexico, and you are the only ones complaining as usual.

If I was this person I would be trying to get my papers in order so I could go to school here and get a good job. If they are not willing to help them self why would I want to help them? That would giving them a free ride not helping them.

How does that old saying go? Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day and be back begging for a second one tomorrow. Teach him to fish and he will start a business and feed others. So as long as they are illegal we will always have to give them a fish each day to keep them from starving and it shows they are not willing to help themselfs.

So illegals go home and come back when you get your paper work in order.

Just to let you know. You are the racist by trying to say these people are better then the rest of us. What makes them such a godly people that we owe them something? We have given them enough like 15 billion dollars a year sent back to mexico by the illegals and we have billions of dollars of US business moved from the USA to Mexico. We are giveing them jobs and poreing money in to their country. They should respect us enough to get legal.

So stop being a racist and show some pride in your country and kick these people out or help them get legal.

Either way you need to do something or shutup..
