You could try covering it up... but that may make it worse. I would try "blowing" it out with something like a hairdrier or even the car windows rolled down.

You might be putting too much Rogaine on your scalp. If that's the case, then try putting less Rogaine on your scalp when you normally apply the product. As long as you follow the recommended dosage amount labeled on the product I believe you should be fine. If not, consider calling the listed 800 number on the box or talking to your doctor about the situation and other alternatives, such as Propecia, a once-daily tablet for hair-loss in men.

Switch to the new 5% Rogaine Foam. It is just like a mousse and it has a light, clean smell. That rubbing alcohol smell is the exact same reason I stopped using it but the foam is nothiing like it. It is suppposed to be just as effective and it is similarly priced.

Without washing you really cannot get rid of the fragrance. You could mask it using a strong spray such as axe body spray.
