if she has had ringworm, and you did not treat the scalp, then yes, she probably has ringworm there. I would have her examined, treated and then when you are sure that all possibility of infestation are gone....it is very effective to treat dry scalp with an application of mayonnaise. I know, it sounds weird, but it does work. Apply thickly for one hour to entire scalp, then wash it out thoroughly. After three weeks the scalp should be clear.

wash your daughter's hair with lemon juice to help dry out the wingworm. Start with shampooing her hair with Creme of nature shampoo they have one that adds moisture back into the hair. You can use olive oil conditioner as a deep conditioner too add moisture. You may want to get a leave in conditioner as well I recommend Parnu-vu with tea tree you can also get this in a shampoo same brand. This tea tree is natural and helps to cleanse the scalp. For a moisturizor use Lustrasilk Moisture Max , for a scalp grease use Indian hemp. you can find these products at Sally's or any local Asian beauty store

HI! this condition is called tinea capitis as far as ur description goes and u can use a very reliable shampoo which is medically approved called Selsun Blue its very effective and i have suggested it to a few frens of mine.
Yes its kind of a ringworm which is a fungal infection u need anit fungal drugs to go with it but as u only asked fro a moisturizer or lotions or shampoos so thats a very good product and if u need any kid of help with the drugs i would help u out if u could im me on (sheeko009)!
U need to be careful or ask her to be careful after she scratches her head tell her to not scratch it much and if she does then try to wash her hands properly cuz it can effect u or siblings and dont use the same hair comb/brush or eve towel! But try out the shampoo its quite effective or the best!
If for instance u dont get that named brand at ur pharm* then ask them for a shampoo with (Selenium Sulfied Lotion 1%).
GOOD LUCK!!

I'd see a doctor first to check out the ringworm situation, and then you might want to check out Sally's Beauty Supplies. They have everything for blacks, whites, and hispanics. They will even offer you a Sally's card for $5.00 to get a discount every time you make a purchase. Try it, you'll like it!

you should call your daughters doctor. A few months ago i notice flakes on my 4 yr olds head. I didnt think much of it until one day brushing her hair i noticed two small round bald patches. Then two days later another one and her hair became brittle. They told me it was a form of ringworm. She took a single dose of medicine everyday for 8 weeks and they gave me lotion to apply to her flakes and bald spots to help skin soften so hair could grow back. Now she is doing great. So please get it looked at it most likley is ringworm since she has it eleswhere. hope i helped.
