would date a person with a felony from when they were 18 who has turned their life around and are now in college and felony was just a mistake felony is for robbery of a coat

if truly turned life around, and making a go of it on the right side of the law, and you were "into" him before ever finding out about the felony - then why not.

We've all done things we regret haven't we.

Tell the guy to apply for a pardon to clear his name and record.

If you decide to date this person you need to take things very slowly. Don't rush into a committed relationship. Give him time to prove that he is now a changed man.

Every felon is one who really isn't a bad person - bad things just happen to them and they don't deserve to be in trouble. They tell you all kinds of stories to make themselves sound better.

I fdont usually run a criminal background check on my dates, but if it was a mistake made at a really young age yes I would probably ignore it. Probably not in the case of a violent crime though.

i would date him or her lol its in the past as long as they are tryign adn when u see truble comine get out soon as u can jsut give it a try first if it dose nto seem right u dont got to stay am i right

As long as it was the only time they did something like that, may be they did it once and got caught. I believe in second chances.

yeah.. mistakes and stuff in the past shouldn't be held aganist you if you have changed... mistakes and your past make you the person you are today.
