Right on Sergio! Americans are made up of all races and creeds. Internationally speaking two or more languages is a sign of intelligence...around here you'd think a foreign language was a communicable disease!!

Do you know the difference between Mexican and Hispanics??
You can't, that's the point... Mexican is not a race, it is a nationality. have you even meet a Hispanic person, have you ever talked to one, do you even know where Mexico is ?
If you want to speak Spanish do it in Mexico, by refusing to speak English, you are supporting a action that will divide America in half. It is very closed minded. If you are doing it to separate the Hispanics from the the rest of America then, let me tell you a little secret " SEGREGATION" has been proved not to work.
One last thing, don't listen to the La Raza BS, they are as racial as the KKK. Be a American, abd be proud of that. If you are a legal U.S. citizen then you are not a Mexican.

No, true Americans do not respect people. Americans are by nature egocentric & self centered. If there is a crisis we send money though. Some of us will voluenteer, but most of us prefer to send a check.
People are fired up about "Illegals" these days, so anyone who is not cotton ball white is gonna get some nasty looks. When people tell you to Go home say to them "No hablas engles" why not? Its THEIR PROBLEM - not yours. Dont be a part of the hate. Dont let it affect you because it is not about you, it is about the sate of a nation who is completel Fuc*** Up! Our president is a liar, we could be attacked at any moment by 'brown people" or another nut case could go into another school and take out more kids. We would be stupid to trust anyone...so, we are an angry & fearful nation in a state of crisis and to vent it we are in a fury about Mexicans...We need therapy...We need an intervention, or Jesus or something. But instead I think we are going to build a wall.

Uhh...no one said they wanted legal immigrants to "go home". Unless of course they were under the impression that you are illegal. Which they may because of the content of your past questions.
Why not speak English? I think it is in reference to people who immigrate here and do not bother to learn English that is the problem. Why should I as a taxpayer supply interpreters for people who do not want to take the initiative to learn English. My great grandparents came here from Italy...guess what? They learned English. Its common sense...in Italy - speak Italian...in Mexico - speak Spanish...in the US - speak English...in Africa...speak the language that the various countries there utilize. I don't understand what the big deal is.

Orale, u know what, it makes me proud to know that there are people like u who tell the 'true americans" the truth. If they can be proud of being american then we can be proud of being mexican. I was born in Sonora but i came here to the U.S. when i was a baby and i have never gone back, this is everyone's country who lives here. Viva la raza. There's a lil' something that all americans hate to here but it's all true. Viva la raza & Viva Mexico!!

I agree with you, as to why people do that, it is because they are ignorant and have nothing better to do then to try to make themselves feel more important than others by putting others down. Trust me, if they were not talking about Mexicans, they would be talking about other people.
People like that are not worth the words that come out of their mouths, ignore them, you will be less stressed if you do.

I think the question should be posed to ALL 'legal' mexicans as to which country they call 'home'. If you've become a US citizen, you're a US citizen, end of story. If you're a Mexican citizen, you're a Mexican citizen, again, end of story. If you choose to EMIGRATE to the United States, and BECOME a US citizen, that's a choice you have to make.
Mexico has NO territorial rights within the boundaries of the contiguous 48 states, nor do they have any territorial rights in Hawaii, or Alaska.
To further educate yourself about the entire mess, read about the US/Mexico war, which was concluded with the signing of the Treaty Of Guadalupe-Hidalgo, and followed by the Gadsden Purchase. Anyone that tells you something different is selling something, and out to make a buck at it, and you're their tool...

You have every right to be here if you're legal. Some people only read the "immigrant" part on LEGAL immigrant, and then they relate it back to their hatred of ILLEGAL immigrants.

it's better to know two languages than just one....
anyone who doesn't like people talking Spanish can just shove their fingers up their ears because it is a language spoken by millions..
English is the primary language in the US but it doesn't give people the right to mandate others to know it..
If people that live in the US don't know English, it's their loss.
