If atheists don't believe in any God, do they believe there is an afterlife or when you die that's it?

There is no consensus....unlike religious groups, atheism has no central dogma that we all follow. We are a fairly diverse group, the only thing uniting us is the lack of belief in unseen unproven speculative deities.

Generally, most would say that all we know for sure is that we have this life, beyond that, nobody knows.

I don't know of any atheists that do believe in an afterlife. However, not all atheists believe the same things; the only shared belief is the DISbelief in a deity.

All athiests have different beliefs. A friend of mine does not believ in god but does believe in the possibility of some type of afterlife.

When you die, that's it. Game over. That's why you have to do as much good in the world when you're alive as possible...no second chances. No point living for the world to come when nothing's coming.

There is a part of me that would like to believe in re-incarnation; it's such a lovely idea. But to me, an idea is all it is. (Meaning no disrespect to those who do believe in it, of course.)

They believe that there is nothing. That's why life is more precious for athiests than Christians.

you're dead. i don't believe in the afterlife. unless you were bitten by a zombie. then youre the "living" dead.
