I have been told that you are very fertile after childbirth. The most fertile you will ever be. I know, it is kinda scary, I have a 1 month old son, and am wondering the same thing. I still havent resumed normal periods. I can imagine that having 2 babies so close together would really wreak havoc on your body. Congrats on your baby boy though...arent baby boy's wonderful? I know I am certainly loving being a mommy!

OMG I can't believe your having unprotected sex after just having a baby...Your are sooooo fertile the first six weeks after having a baby, you can very easily be pregnant again. Please use condomns or start back on your birth control if your not breast feeding. And you do know that a man pre-ejaculates and he ejaculates when he's pulling out too. Thats not being careful by anymeans..Goodluck and I hope for your sake your not pg again or your going to be very busy.

Not to panic you, my husband and his brother are 10 months apart. Might want to use a better method of protection. Could you be? Yes!

As for restarting your period, I'm sure everyone is a little different, including nursing moms to non nursing moms. Good luck!

You should stop post partum bleeding after six weeks, then it could take a couple of month for your cycle to regulate itself, you will have a lot of HcG in your system still and all those hormone.

Pulling out is not a good method. When you give birth you are very fertile. My opinion is use a condom.

you won't have a period until you are done breastfeeding.

if you are not breastfeeding, it takes a little time, a month or two before your body adjusts to not being pregnant before you have a period. But you can get pregnant pretty quickly, however, you are not ovulating if you are breastfeeding.
