homesexuality
or any other political mess in life
don't get me wrong that i grew up with a homosexual brother but we had to except it as a family but , now i don't feel i have to except it no more since he died from aids. i work with homosexuals all day and see them at the salon etc. throughout life but do u think its being forced on our society to except the lifestyle and the tv commercials , shows etc. i love and miss my brother but at age 12 you accept alot because you don't understand it and you don't want to treat them like and outcast either at age 12, but now you understand alot more in the 30's than u did as a kid?

I too had a brother who was Gay, and has since died from AIDS. I feel that we as a family accepted his homosexuality because he was family, and I learned that you can't treat homosexuality with hate; you treat it with love.

Is "homesexuality" having sex at home or with your home?
Or did you mean homosexuality.

They have been overdoing it a bit. They call people who don't like them "Homophobic" which is a made up word tailored to the media, but not a real thing. They also call themselves "Gay" which doesn't seem to fit. I think it is their insistence that they be recognized as normal that gets most people upset. They just aren't. Sorry.

We have a lot of things that we are supposed to accept that we shouldn't. How many politicians have used "Well, it's time to put all thet behind us now..." when they are speaking of crimes they have committed? Both parties use that one a lot.

The insistence that everybody is normal, is a disservice to common sense.

You are essentially asking if we ever feel forced to accept other human beings and their lifestyles, correct?

It shows the sad state of this world when somebody actually has to ask this question.

Edit: for Raymond L. below me....please accept my condolences on the loss of your brother.

For the most part no. Accepting something is just acknowledging that it exists, and that acknowlegement can not be forced. Unfortunately some misguided activists still take this approach.

A lot of people are pushing homo-sexuality as an issue, both for and against. I consider it a smoke screen to cloud the greater issue of grace or law, which is a matter of life or death, to all.

As for forced,
law = must
grace = let

If any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant.
It won't change "the end" is already written:

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Are those oppinions prevalent in the media? You bet.

But does anyone really have any power to force an oppinion to be my oppinion? Nope, It's best when making decisions about your opinion, to gather all the info you can, weight it out in your mind, ponder it, and then decide for yourself, no one can do it for you.

it sounds like you never accepted it to begin with.

edit: oh, and no. I am open minded and accepting of peoples's own lives and choices, when I can be. sometimes it takes deliberate intent to not be judgemental.

but I dont feel its my place to be judgemental and deny things that others chose if thats what they chose and feel.

Yes, it's being shoved down our throats (obvious bad choice of words). Enough gayness already.
