'Metrosexual' is about guys who are definitely not gay but think more about their personal appearance than is absolutely normal. They change their shirt three times a day, shower three or maybe four times a day, shave all hair (except on their heads, which is always very carefully arranged or disarranged according to the current fashion). In short, they do not smell like men ... and if they detect that they do, they take a shower and apply cologne.

The only reason (besides for sport's tapings and surgeries) a guy would shave their body is for looks. The guy cares a lot about his looks. Gay men are known for caring a lot about their looks, and what is metrosexual? Metrosexual is a guy as close to be gay, without actually being gay. So... guys shave their legs because they want people to notice their curves (of their muscles). Practically the same for girls... only it is a little more socially acceptable for women to shave their body.

its somewhat too clean, and we have a bad boy image so its considered almost gay in our society.
