It seems that I can't do anything right for my parents. My homework is never completed to perfection, although I always hand it in on time and get full point value, my grades aren't good enough although I get all A's and B's and am on at least the honor roll every quarter. Everything I say seems to be wrong to them although I try so hard to keep attitude out of my voice. Is it me? What can I do to gain their approval? It seems like I keep working for nothing because nothing pleases them. Help me?

Have you sat down with your parents and talked to them about how you feel? I know my teenager say's the same thing about us. Sometimes parents just forget what it is like to be a teenager.

that is how some parents are just put them behind you and go on when i was younger i was just like you but one day i woke up and said to my self i was never gone a make them pround becuase when i did something write it ended up wrong all ways so i just put it behind me and when i came from a a to a low c they acted like they did not even no what was going on and i told my mom you all was not pround of me when i made good grades now i am not busting my but to make a a i never made an a from that point then and they still act the same way even though i am 19 and i do not live with them or i do not even talk to them at all becuase of my child hood when you are so down and out never gave up rember this email and for get about what they think believe in your self and in god follow god he will help you though all your problems and needs god bless you and make your self pround and ever thing else will come to you be good and god bless you always

I know how you feel. This is what you need to do. you can do two things you can write them a letter dont write a angry letter just one to let them know how you feel it may sound stupid but at least you will get to say everythin g you need to say without any interuptions. The second theing you can do is tell you parents in advance there is something you want to talk to them about .Make sure when you talk to them you say EVERYTHING you need to say and let them really know how you feel they should come to some kind of understanding.
