Brian_K is about right of all the answers. Ask for 750, don't be disappointed with 500. The 5 door model is more practical, and if it has power steering, thats a bonus.

Check the front lower cross-member for rust. Open then bonnet and look down under the radiator, very common prob with the micra. If it's rotten, it's an mot failure and will cost a couple of hundred to repair. A buyer would probably knock that off your asking price.

Coolest thing would be to buy a sledgehammer and sell tickets to allow people to take whacks at your automobile. You will make some money and there will be one less automobile on the road. Use some of the money you make on ticket sales to pay for a monthly public transit pass or some comfortable walking shoes. You will be amazed at how much better and less stressed-out you feel!!

I am in car sales, and the nissan micra is an excellent car for resale,I would advertise it privately,as it will achieve more. The car at 35,000 miles is going to be a reliable workhorse for anybody.
Advertise it at £750.00,expect to take a chip from someone, but it will get £500.00 privately, good luck.
