Looking for employment in the tropics, where the weather is nice all year round! Not looking for a high paying job, just something that will get me by, pay the bills and maybe have a little fun also. I will be bringing my girlfriend who will also be looking for employment. We are in our early 40's and looking for a new career in the sun!

Well, u never told us about your work experience? it makes a big difference. The sun shine is not good enough to sustain a happy life. Anyways since there is missing information, I suggest you select 1 or 2 destinations, go stay there for a couple of weeks b4 taking any decisions.
Once you shortlisted a destination start asking around for jobs and make sure they do hire foriegners, the next thing to do is search online via Monster.com etc and a final thought, why not start your own small business?
