First of all choose the slower way as in exercising short period of time every day. Secondly, choose your diet based on your daily activities. If your job requires you to sit in the office, work out more and eat less. Here is a helpful website that chooses diet based on your blood group. It worked for me. Check it out.

As our blood group has effect on our diet for metabolism mechanism.

Lastly, have a positive mind set and enjoy doing it, it would make a lot of difference in a few months.

Have fun

Eat a well balance diet, e.g. 5 portion of fruit and veg a day, don't eat many snacks, maybe twice a week should be ok. Eat 3 meals a day, breakie, lunch and dinner (do not skip breakfast, since you will end up eating more during the day), and also avoid crap foods like burger chips etc. You can treat yourself to like fast food ones every two weeks. Don't buy ready made meals.

And off course, do at least 30 minutes exercise 4-5 times a week.

Work out more days a week and less time (although if you could continue at 2 hours/day that'd be great). Instead of 2 hours per day 2 days a week, 1 hour per day 4 days a week would be better.

Obviously eat less, but make sure you still get the right foods - high protein, moderate fat, and moderate carbs. DO NOT cut out carbs and fat all together, as you will gain all your weight back as soon as you get off the diet. Also, not eating carbs or fat is very unhealthy. Just make sure you eat sensibly, that's the largest part of losing weight.

Okay, you should eat many smaller portions throughout the day. Also, try to eat more fiber. (I don't recommend cereals, they add too much sugar). Avoid things that contain hydrogenated oil. Your best bet is to eat a least a meal of salad a day.

Be sure to drink at least 8 cups of water. Water helps because it carries nutrients to your cells faster, speeding up metabolism. It also carries waste away faster. Finally, it makes you feel full. Sometimes the feeling of thirst can be confused with hunger.

If your looking for a diet plan, I recommend the USANA Reset. It's not a crash diet because it actually surpresses your cravings, even after you stop practicing the diet. I lost a good deal of weight this way.

Stop drinking soda's, if you do that is. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Start off walking about a block a day and get to where you can walk at least a mile a day. Say after supper go for a walk instead of watching TV. It took me three (3) years but I lost almost 70 lbs. by doing the same thing.

Have you changed your way of eating. Yes excersise is great, but the way you eat can affect to. I lost about 45 pounds doing Weight Watchers and i was a size 16 im down to a size 8. And i ate and was satified with everything. But try for now a low carb diet, enough protein, cut sodas down, drink water with a little lemon in it, cut your sugar intake. Try some of those.
And when you work out, try some Pilates, is good, I teach it and it works wonders!!!

Maybe you can try doing a nice walk everyday- after work, after school. For at least 20 minutes. That way, you don't have to work out 2 hours at a time, at only twice a week. AND, no eating past 6pm.
