You're ok, watch your portions. Its ok to have 2 cookies, not the whole bag. It is better to eat more often with snack size portions than it is to eat a full planned meal.
Also watch how your food is prepares. Grilling is better than frying. Oil is better than butter.

First you need to figure out why you're obsessing about food. Are you bored, sad, lonely, tired? Is food replacing something that your life is missing?
Take care of the primary issue and the food thing will probably go away on its own.

Stay away from the kitchen. I find that when I am not doing anything I find my way to the kitchen and have gained a few extra pounds because of this. Keep yourself busy and you will be okay.

Find something else to focus your attention on. Hobbies such as painting or dancing are good. In fact, dancing might even be better because it will be exercise as well as attention-holding.
Good luck!

Find something interesting to do. Read a book, watch a movie, get some exercise...
