My husband and I just had a very fun, exciting, and simple wedding in Las Vegas...

We got married at Chapel of the Bells, but I would recommend getting married at Little White Chapel. Their econo-wedding is 50 dollars, not including the 40 dollar minister gratuity. That's the cheapest! The wedding license is 55 dollars to the city, plus the 10 cost of a certified copy that you buy later through the mail.

We paid a total of 1500 dollars for everything for five nights in Vegas- that's wedding, hotel, airfare, food, show tickets, gratuities, etc...

Compare US Airways Vacations online, bestfare.com, or vegas.com

Those are the three cheapest for Vegas packages. You can also go to nightclub.com and get free or reduced nightclub passes.

We just got back from there - it's a great place to go and you'll have lots of choice. We chose the Bellagio and had 26 friends and family come with us, but the site below lets you search every package in Vegas by cost and theme/traditional wedding, and has pictures of most chapels. Also, take a look at the article about suitable venues for small/simple weddings - you might find it useful.

Good luck - and have fun!

The first time i got married at The Little White Chapel, it was too quick to be honest with you. I ended up divorcing him. I'm now engaged to be married again and this time I'm doing the real thing with the white wedding dress and i want my Dad to walk me down the aisle and have the wedding that i dreamed of and have a bunch of friends and family celebrate it with me. The first time went by too quick and you do not feel like you got married... I recommend doing a little wedding but make it intimate and do it right.. this is your only chance to be the bride and have it be all about you and decorate, brides maids, the cake and church .. this time around i have 170 quests and i am getting married in May 2007 check out the ceremony is at the St. Fransis Chapel the reception is at the Music Room go to the virtual tour and see for yourself. www.missioninn.com good luck to you. Don't get mad or offended this is just my opinion.

Do not listen to the nay-sayers! A wedding in Vegas is fantastic! Chapel of the Bells or Little White Chapel are great, as are most of the hotel chapels. Go online, look around, find the ceremony that pleases you and then do it! Wish I could be you, what fun! Congratulations!

Got married at Victoria's Chapel off of Sahara Drive in Vegas. It was a beautiful small traditional ceremony. Married 7 yrs ago, divoricing now but the ceremony was wonderful.

we just got married in Vegas in June. we did have about 20 people go with us but we kept it really simple. we got married at the MGM grand. it only took us like 1/2 hour to get the marriage certificate. we just relaxed all day by the pool the day of the wedding, got ready about an hour before, and then it was done! it was still really nice and taste-full, but with not any of the stress. good luck!

I got married to my 2nd husband in Vegas. We didn't have much money at the time, and I needed a car, so we simply eloped. Went up there for a weekend, stayed in a nice hotel/casino, partied a bit and got hitched (just the two of us) in one of the wedding chapels. It's great if you want a simple, cheap, no-fuss wedding, I liked it.

yes we did- best holiday we ever had- we travelled around for three weeks and got married in the Little chapel of flowers-
we arranged the whole trip through a travel agent - but you can do it yourself
we told them when we arrived in our hotel- they gave us a time to be ready- a stretch limo picked us up- the driver took us to the office to get our licence- we went to the chapel- got married - I had a bouquet - lovely- had photos and a video they drove us back to the hotel- no fuss no family falling out- it was great- we spent the morning on roller coasters and the evening having a lovely meal!!- if you want a fuss free wedding that you'll always remember then this is the place to be!
we stayed in Las Vegas for three days which to be honest we found was enough- in all we went to San Fransisco, Eureka (red wood forests) Sacramento, Bryce and Zion canyon, Death valley Yosemite national park- monument valley - white water rafting down the grand canyon- saw the grand canyon- Arizona- San Diego- it was fab!!
with spends and wedding accommodation car hire etc we spent about 5 grand- wich is a lot cheaper than your average wedding- had a holiday of a life time!!- be careful though- two of us went but three came back!!- that was six years ago!!
I'd love to do it again- but its not a holiday for children-
good luck!!

Very Simple - I did this:

The Tunnel of Love Wedding Chapel on Las Vegas Blvd. Literally the best money saving, no drama things you can do. :)
