im going to take her to vets tmw. got her 3 days ago she was fine, i have been feeding her whenever she "asks" and has had lots of cat biscuits. shes done 2 runny poos that ended with a spot 10p size of red bllod, she seems fine in herself. Has anyone else had this happen diue to overfeeding? im cutting her back now and seeing vet!

The most likely cause for her blood-tinged stools would be worms. If that's the case, a dose of dewormer will do the trick. Your vet can do a fecal test to see if it is worms.

Thank you so much for being worried about your cat and going to the vet. There are way (and I mean way) too many people who just don't care (because to them a pet is just an object and something they own) and assume it will all go away.

its good that you are responsible and taking her to the vet im glad because alot of people on here dont...so im proud of you for that ...i wouldnt be too upset about it she may have strained when having a bowel movement which caused the blood but better to be safe and let the vet check it out...good luck with your cat im glad she has a good owner like you

I think your cat is constipated. Try giving him greens, like the grass that cats are safe to eat. You can find it in pet stores. :) You might want to give him more water too. Hope this helps.

Any time you find blood you should first call you vet. It could be something serious.

before you change the diet....see what the Vet says.....could be worms.......type of food....stress related....allergies.....viral....
