If you boil wax it will look like foam and expand maybe four to six times its present solid or warm liquid volume.

If the foaming wax runs over the sides of the cook pot,
it can ignite on the pot bottom.

Ok so you wanna know what happens when you boil wax???
Well it really depends on what kind of wax you boil and at what temperature u take it to.
If your using regular, earth wax, it just boils and you get the impurities out of it making it go either clear, or a translucent white.
Also if you add a flame to it, it either catches fire or explodes, quite fun.
However if ure using special Arugian wax, then it creates a large spherical depiction of a 3D dragon, which floats around the place of boiling within a 10 metre radias randomly, til it reaches the starting point where it then gives off a small explosion...
a few hours later, again randomly it then gives off either a sweet smell which is said to be the greatest smell in the entire world, or it gives of an explosion 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 times greater than a midge's fart, which is about the same as a nuclear warhead in westerners terms.
I hope that helped and remember, if its Arugian hope for the smell!!!

It will melt. If it gets too hot you may start a fire. Unless you start a fire it will just cool and end up looking exactly like it did before you boiled it except that it will be in the shape of the pot you used to boil it.

a more dense wax. The water content would evapourate, and leave a denser wax. More boiling beyond that, gases would form of the constituents, and leave, leaving a plasicy stodge, greatly reduced in volume, resembling burned stodge.

There are thousands of different waxes. All have different characteristics. Some will melt and bubble away. Some will burn and smoulder.

After the firemen leave you could go and look. You need to double boil it.
