I was recently dating a guy for over a year that had a girlfriend in England. Stay away from the out of country relationships. Unless you don;t mind being cheated on

It was great at first but since he is in another country he decided to pursue someone else. I guess our love wasn't as strong as I thought. Now the friendship is causing me pain but I can't let it go. I really care about him and it hurts that he made promises but now chose to find someone closer. If you are really committed to each other though I think it could work. I just hope you don't get your heart broken like I did.

I am in that situation. It is very difficult, particularly if you are very close to the other person and you lead an active lifestyle.

On the other hand it can make your life much easier, if you are faithful. You don't have to concern yourself with dating at all, which can make life a lot less expensive. And hopefully if the time difference isn't too great you can continue having a very enjoyable cerebral relationship, which in many ways is stronger.

Try to find someone closer if you love someone you will never see then you are just protecting your heart and it is no good if it is meant to be fate will bring you together.

It's frustrating and messes with your head.
You want to believe they're being faithful, but you don't feel as though you can trust them when they're not with you; and you don't want to constantly question their every movement when they don't get in touch; for fear of driving them away.
