No, it is not wrong. Asking a second helping is the best way to show your host how much you appreciate his/her cooking. I would be more than happy to give my guests second helpings of any dish I cook.

hey..it took her all day to make sure that that pie was fresh, warm and ready to eat. so it was absolutly necessary that you ask for seconds!!!
