One thing I've been doing recently is just not caring. That way I'm not angry.

Whatcha think about that?

Nah, when someone ticks me off, I just laugh it off.....

If I'm feeling playful, I post really obnoxious stuff... But that's just for fun

That's great if you can do it....but you're not even a little bit frustrated? How long have you been here? You ask and answer questions, say, about evolution (as an example), just trying to get people to LEARN about it before they dismiss it altogether...and NOTHING. There are still just as many people who think evolution is false because monkeys don't give birth to humans in zoos, or apparently are just so disgusted with the idea that they might have something in common with monkeys, that they won't even consider it.

I don't get angry about things like that, but I sure do get frustrated.... Are you saying that you don't? And if not, what's your secret?? I've tried to just not care, it's not working so well...

I've tried that before. It actually works quite well...... for you. Unfortnately, everyone else thinks you're depressing and anti-social at that point. I've found the better thing to do is to do the opposite. Whatever makes you upset you say screw it, either have it out with them, or forget about it and go back to being your happy-go-lucky self. The bonus plus to that is chicks never like depressed sad guys. They're attracted to confidence and happiness.

I think I laugh at most of the answers more than I get upset.
There are some things that I read that just piss me off to no end(the main one is using the words of a book to prove that book true)
But most of the answers here are hysterical. I laugh my *** of at most of the "religious" answers.

Not caring works for me. Apparently it works for you too. Some hurt feelings from you not caring, I heard through the grapevine. People need to protect their feelings. None of us know each other here. True 'friends' are rare.

People who get legitimately upset by going to a place that they must actively volunteer to go make me nervous. If your job or your wife make you upset, that's one thing, but Y!A is pretty easy to "get out of" if it upsets you. The 'net is a big place--go get happy somewhere.

Glad you're feeling relaxed and groovy, Mr. D!

Everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion and spiritual beliefs. I don't think we should ridicule anyone for believing what they want to believe. However, I find nothing wrong with intelligent and respectful debates.

Very little in this forum actually bothers me. When something does strike a nerve, I turn it into a series of questions and ask away.

I agree. I don't care. If they walked up to me and screamed at me then I STILL wouldn't care. The only opinion about yourself that really matters is your own!

it would be better if people didn't post questions for the purpose of baiting people into arguements or posting just to get people riled up.

A little respect shown when posting would be better, but I try not to let anyone anger me.

Apathy is wonderful in the right circumstances, this being one of them.
