I went out on another very enjoyable date with the girl I met recently tonight. I got home and noticed that she's got rid of her profile on the dating site we met each other on. We've already arranged to see each other again after we get back from our various business trips around Europe next week. Can I take it as a hint that she's possibly starting to fall for me, or is it wishful thinking on my part? I'm wary of taking things too quickly, but am optimistic there might be some mutual feeling...

ok, be careful. :) i'm speaking from experience.. don't lose ur optimism, but don't lose your common sense either.

remember, ur meeting someone on a dating website.. u do'nt konw how many people she meets, what she does, what her views on relationships are...and she is a stranger. of course it'd be wonderful to be able to believe everything she says, but u don't have a mutual friend or acquaintance that can vouch for her, so just be careful.

having said that, the first person i met online was really "great" off the bat. he was sweet, nice, good looking, and charming, gentleman-like. after awhile, he took off his profile. i asked him, and he said it was because he thought he would concentrate on me. i was happy.... later it turned out that he has profiles on MANY dating websites, and starts using other ones when he "catches his prey".... ie ME. so he met other girls from OTHER dating sites, but acted like he took off his profile from the dating site I was on so that he can concentrate on me. total lie.

i found out later that he was dating other girls behind my back..he lied to my face too, cuz i had asked him initially if he was dating other girls...he did everything he could to trick me, and i fell for it cuz i met his parents, sisters, friends, knew where he worked, and everything "checked out". nope!!!! not good enough. u have to be even more wary when meeting a stranger online.

i'm not saying it won't work, but i'm saying that in any relationship time and accountability really prove to you what kind of person someone is...and if it is someone u've met thru a dating service, it'll take even MORE time to decipher, vs someone u've met thru a friend. good luck to you~~

It's definately a good sign that she's removed her profile, so looks like you could have a new partner, good for you! Hope it goes well in the future.
