my boyfriend cheated me and instead of breaking up l gave him some time to think abt it all. he said that he does not know whom he really loves. we both gave him time to think over it and to make a choice. now he let go of the other one and l told him to give ourselves a break just to see if we can do without each other. l also need to think this over

Yes, it hurts to part from the love of our life that is what i recently went through but you have to realize is when there are more than you and the man involved alot of thinking has to be put into play. like can he be trusted?how can I trust him?do I think of payback? or do I just let him come back like nothing ever happened.Well, taking time from each other may hurt but it will give you the chance to know what you want and it will give it time for him to figure out his mistakes and the way he can or cannot fix them. I feel that yes it takes strong person to give up something or someone they love so much so in the end they will know whether it will work out.So good job on making that big step and good luck on whatever choices you make in the relationship.

Sounds like you can do better without this guy, especially since he has cheated on you already. Life is too short to worry about one little fish, get out and live a little! thats hard casue i cheated on my boyfriend and and he took me back, but the harsh feeling was there, but if you guys really love each other you have to take it slow and start over. Just dont give each other a break casue you guys need each other. Just start over by dating and building trust. that me and my bofriend did and we have been together for 4 yrs now!!! So take it slow
