Stop smoking! I used to smoke before I got pregnant with my son, and then I quit as soon as I found out I was going to be a mother. When I went through my divorce (my son was 9 months old), I was stressed and started again. I never smoked anywhere near my son, or even where he could see me, but one day he came outside and saw me. After that, he did the same thing as your son does. I quit right away because I saw the affect I may have on my young child. I didn't want him to learn that smoking was ok, and shame on me for doing it in the first place. Please quit as soon as you can. I'm glad I did! I'm healthier, and happier, and I know my son doesn't have to have a stinky mommy....LOL!

number 1....your 15...under the legal age to smoke
number 2....don't smoke around the kid
number 3...your pregnant...why in the world are you smoking anyway?
You, yourself are causing all of your problems, you have no one else to blame. Life isn't about you anymore, it's about those kids. Sounds like you need the time out just like the 2 year old!!

Considering the fact that your a cigarette smoker, you should be diligent enough about keeping your cigarettes and lighter out of your children's reach. Put them on top of the fridge like I do, then they won't play with them.
My sisters oldest child picked up my sisters burning cigarette from inside the ashtray when she was a baby, and luckily my sister caught her do it just seconds later. She got a really bad spanking for it, but really it was my sisters fault, and not the baby's. The lit and burning cigarette shouldn't have been left alone. Common sense.

mine does that to. What I did was sit him down and tell him that this is something moms do but not little boys. Then he said but i want to be like you mommy. so now when I do smoke I go out side away from him. or try to hide it. Let me tell you have cut down smoking alot. As long as you do not get mad at them cause really at this age it is all about monkey see monkey do. so it is not there fault.good luck. love mammas0212

Let him know it's only for mum and/or dad and if possible don't smoke in front of him better still give up. As the saying goes practise what you preach, unfortunately if I want to eat chocolate or any junk food I have to wait for my daughter to be in bed otherwise she's like her mother wants to eat the whole block to herself. Good Luck.
