some people say that if u r doing bad in english (not that bad) and geometry (kinda) then u will do bad in biology (very bad!!!)

Everyone's approach to studying is different. The amount of time you spend studying isn't as important as the way you study. High School/Middle School bio is just rote memorization of terms if you want to pass--but if you want to learn, you have to take it in everyday--a positive attitude doesn't hurt, either.

Go talk to the teacher if you are studying and still failing. You are either studying the wrong things or you need to look at your study habits. Doing poorly in English and math, while somewhat linked, will not necessarily mean you will do poorly in biology, but you need to recognize your weaknesses and compensate for them. I would say talking to the teacher and perhaps finding someone to tutor you would be a good start.

biology is based mainly on terms. and when trying to learn terms the best way is to use flashcards. write the term on one side and the location or definition on the other side. good luck!!!

be more efficient while studyin.....join study groups, stay for afterschool tutorials, ask lots of questions in class, find ur bio teacher for extra help after class, do some research online and dont just do ur hw...understand it
