ı would like to answer that question by a joke;two doctors are going to holiday .they take a dinner at a restaurant the girl washes her hands before the meal and after the meal and then go to hotel room.they sleep together in the morning at breakfast the boy asks the girl if she is a surgeon or not?the girl says how do you understand that ?the boy replies everytime you wash your hands therefore you must be surgeon.then the girls asks to boy you must be anesthesiologist isnt it?the boy replies how do you understand that...the girl replies ı dont understand anything last night in bed..

A definite necessity. As long as people require surgery or other invasive procedures they will be needed. If you need one for an elective surgery ask around and find a reputable one. Same with any other physician.

It would be unfair to ask my opinion of a very large group of people. I'm sure they are all different and would judge their character accordingly. As far as the field of anesthesiology is concerned, I wouldn't want surgery without it.

If we're going to have any surgeries done, we sure need them!
Just like any occupation, there are incredibly good ones, and some 'not so good' ones.
Choose your care wisely.

Maybe im naive, but I will take anesthetics any day over nothing. I trust them with my life basically.
