People are just lazy these days. It comes from auto gearboxes, power steering and climate control. They are in there own little cocoon and sod everyone else. I get fed up of trying to mindread what some idiot is going to do. Then there are the really dangerous types- loud music, car full of mates and showing off. Sometimes think the fuzz should have a remote imobiliser. Strange thing. My daughter failed her second test partly because she indicated back into the inside lane on a dual carriageway after she had overtaken a parked car!! She was told that she shouldn't have indicated left after overtaking the car even though there was a car right behind her. Very odd!!

You're right, less & less people are indicating these days.

Another thing about roundabouts I have noticed these days which infuriates me, is the number of cars now that stop on the actual roundabout, thereby blocking the access.

If you notice this, you'll also see the unnecessary traffic jams that build up as a result.

I daily have to go through two sets of double roundabouts, and I always wait til I see the car on the right indicating left before I move, no indicators mean 'going straight across'; but do they? Do they ****! Maybe one in ten is going to go straight across, it's Sod's law that that's the one coming as you get fed up with waiting to see someone signal is the one doing it right!

Too many Ignorant and Arrogant drivers out there who can't be arsed to indicate, But they are the first to complain when they have a crash or something ! surely Not indicating is a sign of bad driving and if your caught not indicating a few times then it should be a fine or a penalty point !!.

I don't think its necessary to indicate on a round about ..... the roundabouts are meant for smooth turning and not the abrupt turning that needs an indicator

Indication, ceased with the modern day mini cab and taxi, so as they do not do it, everybody else has followed suit.
Anybody who has manners will continue to indicate to show their intention, unfortunately there are not enough of us.

Even worse - those who do indicate seem to think that gives them the right to just pull out, espescially on motorways. The Highway Code (UK) says an indicator just means I INTEND to pull out. NOT I JUST HAVE

indicating is extra work...dont we have enough to do with steering and changing gears and looking in mirrors...if we indicated aswell, we would probably hit the car next to us
