Let's say your boyfriend or girlfriend has a new gay friend of the opposite sex (who is in a relationship): in the past week, they've spent Wednesday, Thursday and Friday night from 6-1am at their friend's place (no Saturday because the friend was busy), Sunday afternoon from 3-7, and Monday and Tuesday from 6-12 at the friend's place. In addition, when they come home, they spend another hour or so emailing photos and stuff to them. Let's say you know for certain that there's nothing going on between them, and maybe they're excited because they've really hit with a new friend...still, is this a lot of time to be spending with a person who you are not dating?

Not concerned about the cheating, not jealous of the new friend (they have many opposite sex friends and it's never been a problem), just concerned that the amount of time they're spending with or in doing something for this person is not normal...basically almost every waking moment outside of work.

Sounds like you jealous this friend of yours has made a new friend. And is now spending more time with them than you. Quit timing them and get a life of your own.

Best friends usually do that regardless of sex or sexuality.
Or the other possibilty... Is a conversion on the horizon?

You need to have a sincere talk...and ask whats going on... If they get defensive... be suspicious. If it's a harmless friendship they won't care if you tag along ocassionally...

Love is the answer to everything. All you ever need is love,
communication and understanding. That's what I figured out so
far. If you are down, you need to get up and start doing something with
your life. Don't need to be shy, be straight forward and allways say what
you want and expect from the others.

Yes, I would say so. I would also think something else was going on (even though you say you are certain there isn't) if they are spending that much time together. Sounds a bit wierd to me.

If you are sure that nothing is going on ? .. Then it just depends on if it is interferring with the time you want to spend with this person. Good Luck! :)

Women do this thing called "emotional cheating" and it's worse than if she was just having sex with him.
