Hello.... Does having a baby hurt? Please get real. Why do you even want a tattoo. Why don't you be different and don't choose to get the tattoo. Getting a tattoo can be very dangerous to your health. You could get a bad disease and even die. Why would you want to take the chance? God gave you a beautiful body. Take care of it. Love yourself and love God. Have a nice day.
Sincerely, J (:

Getting a Tattoo anywhere hurts. The lower back is bad but mostly just along the spine. The worst spots I've hit were the ribs and the sternum. No matter where you get a tattoo i will hurt but if you truly want that new ink it is worth it, if your just doing it to be "cool" then I'm guessing the pain just wouldn't be worth it!

Before my first tattoo I was terrified of needles - still am actually, when I go to the doctor - but getting tattoo'd is a different feeling of getting 'poked'. As many others have said, it all depends on your pain tolerance. Personally, none of my tattoo's caused a lot of pain, just uncomfortable.

yeeees!!!!! it hurts like hell. the thing with tattoos is right....the needle does not pierce the skin so what realy hurts is not the needle but the vibration that the needle produces resonating off the bones. a tatoo artist told me that. so the nearer the bone is to the skin the more it hurts. but on the arm it dont hurt or on the leg or ur bum

It depends on your pain thresh hold. But I have on my lower back -pretty big and it hurt -not as much as I thought it would though. I just tried to put myself in a different place while I was getting it done. I was so excited to get the tattoo it was easy to do.

Yes it does...I have a butterfly with black tribal on my low back and it hurt especially while the tattoo artist was working over the spine. Worth the pain though....I love the tattoo!!

BEING A TATTOOIST.PIERCER......you will find discomfort in your lower back.....not the most painfull part of the body to tattoo but i'd say in the top 10.....and you will notice different pain sensations in the different spots....it will be uncomfortable, but not unbareable, unless you have a very low pain threshold

I've heard it hurts less. The parts that hurt the most are places with little fat, and right over bones. Nevertheless, remember, tattoos will all hurt to begin with. Most people say you get used to it after a while, but mine, on my ankel, hurt the ENTIRE time.

I just got a tattoo on my lower back 2 months ago, it hurt when he first started but then your natural endorphins take over, and it is fine.

Yes...any tat hurts some anyways, but when you get over the kidneys or onto the tail bone...ouch. It took me 2 sittings to get my goddess on my lower back...and when he started filling in the outline on the tail bone...that hurt!!!
