Probably you know one and just aren't aware that they identify themselves as gay. This could be a good thing...no reason anyone should be treated differently on the basis of sexual interests anyway.
Could also be where you live or your culture. I grew up in a rural area and actually didn't even meet a JEW until I went away to college. Everyone I knew was straight, protestant or Catholic, and WHITE.
Grew up, moved to the city, best man at my wedding was gay. Go figure.

You probably know a gay person, you just don't know that they are gay. They may not even know they are gay. I went to high school with two or three guys that everbody called "gay" because they were small or had a high voice or whatever. A few years down the road, turns out, yeah they were gay.

Maybe what you should do is try and focus your energies on something more positive. I mean- does it really matter if you personally know someone who is gay? Would it make you life that much brighter or would you feel some sense of accomplishment. I am pretty sure you have came across some, you just didnt know. There is no magic marker spot on their foreheads that declare their sexuality.

I think you know one,but are unaware that they are gay.Perhaps they haven't come out of the closet yet,but you are in contact with someone who is gay.It maybe at work,school,church or some other place.It is almost impossible to be on this earth and not come in close contact with someone who is gay.Bi is the same as gay to me,because if a person is attracted to the same sex(even if they are also attracted to the opposite) they are gay.

Based on your question I would venture that you might know a few homosexuals but that they (out of self-respect?) have not told you they were. It isnt as though you can tell a person's sexual preference simply by looking at them (some may be a little more obvious than others but there is no guarantee).
Now a better question..... WHY does it matter???

you must live in a small town. I live in a big downtown area where gays are pretty much predominant and I have many gay friends
