Would he stand back and laugh? Would he take our side because we are mainly a Christian nation? Seriously...does the Bible address the side and stance Jesus might take?

We can pretend, for the point of this question, that the country we are at war with is Iraq...

Pretend any country you want. Countries will be over ALL sin will be punished. The US will be punished for her sin and Iraq for hers, and all the rest of the world for theirs. The children of God will be called to His side and He will exact His vengeance on all who deify Him.. It late for an apology it's judgment day. He will set up His kingdom and rein here among us for 1,000 years.... Jim

A lot of scripture is being fulfilled in the mideast today. It is a jihad (holy war) Christianity vs. islam. The bible also speaks fully to Jesus' roll in how everything is going to end. John Hagee has written several books you might like to read including: Jerusalem Countdown, Attack on America, The Beginning of the End, The Battle for Jerusalem and From Daniel to Doomsday.

We are not at war with any nation. We are at war with extreme terrorists that want to take over the world. You speak of an Islamic nation. The religion of Islam is a forced religion. This religion is determined to rule the world. This means if you are a woman you will have no rights. If you are a Christian your life will be in jeopardy.
I think this is the false religion Jesus was talking about.

Matthew 24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

Wouldn't Jesus naturally side with the Middle Easterners? ;-)

As I understand Christ, he would be so unhappy with our action that all of our troops would be at risk. He might decide to smite them all for allowing commerce to dictate the deaths of so many.
President Bush, Chaney, Rice, Rumsfeld, Wolfowitz and all the other right-wing cronies who celebrate the deaths of so many of our young would be cast onto the burning coals of Hell, to roast forever for even thinking of linking any aspect of this debacle with so-called "Christian" values.

For your information, Jesus would be on the Muslims side! Because when he comes he will deny that he was God or son of God. And will invite everybody to worship One God, that is Allah!
