Vicodin is a addictive drug and should only be taken as prescribed by doctors for the length of time specified. Based on the dose it depends on the individuals metabolizing of the drug as to how long it stays in the system.

You mean vicodin? Not too long. You are usually advised to take one to two every four to six hours. So, probably after the six hour mark it's pretty much done.
