She has been trying to get pregnant for almost a year. They finally did, and now through much trouble with the pregnancy she has miscarried. I am 18 weeks pregnant, and not having any problems with my pregnancy so I feel really guilty when I talk to her. Are there any scriptures that might help her get through her pain that I can just send to her in an email?

It is in John and it says the Lord will not leave you comfortless, I'm not sure of the chapter and verse but if you look up comfortless you should be able to find it.

Tell her "Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajiun", means "From God we come and to Him we return".

In Islam, we do not believe in Original Sin. In fact all the children are born innocent. And if they die in their infancy (including miscarriages if they already have heart beat) then they will surely go to Paradise! They will also intercede for their parents on the Day of Judgement.

I hope that helps.

P.S. If she is Christian and believes in Original Sin then she might be even more upset, thinking her child will go to Hell. So no Biblical verses will help her.

This is so sad I wish I could convay my smythy.. The only verse I know that might help is:
Luke.18:16
But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

King James English suffer ment allow... Jesus brings all the children of the world to Himself in Heaven that is His will and His way... Jim

No but being there for her and helping her take a day at a time would help. No offense to your beliefs but giving someone scripture doesn't help. Being a good friend and a shoulder to lean on does.
