yes it is part of the context to be considered while draining every drop of truth available in each scripture. Actually we are theophilus. Many letters were to the body of Christ and in as much we are some of the intened readers. It is true that time of authorship, customs of that time, religions of the particular cities, and many other contributing factors are part of the context. There is a place in one of the gospels where Jesus is quoted as praying and my limited research and humble attempts to discover the truth have led me to the opinion that It was spoken with us today in mind. Also a place in psalms I think 95 where it refers to a future people that would use God's name in a curse, and what it says there is a little frightening to the faint hearted.
my thought s are they refered to GD

The letters written by paul, (formerly Saul) that you have referenced here are written to the seven churches of Asia...Israel does not refer to the geographical location it refers to Jacob whose name was changed or called Israel by God, so all being decendents we are Israel. It was written in order for the gospel to be carried on through the generations. So....yes it was.

We are Christians baptizied in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins as instructed in Acts 2.
The Bible most certainly is for us Christians.
We believe in God the Father, Jesus the Christ who is His only begotten son and in His Holy Spirit.
The Bible is for anyone who want to know God and have a closer relationship with Him.

When the Apostles were told to go out and Disciples, the basis was the teachings for the people and those adopted into the family of God. Even if you were the one who got these letters, it was for the whole assembly, not one person. Within they were instructions for living to all who read. They are kept as a reminder of how to live and serve our Father.

Because, just as Jesus predicted so accurately, Saul Antichrist came along, professing to be 'of the Father', and taught everyone the opposite of Jesus' teachings, including 'go not unto the Gentiles, but only the lost sheep of Israel', in Christian garb. Oh....he changed his name to 'Paul' and then wrote most of the New Testament....

2 Timothy 3:16, 17 indicates it was written for all who want to do what God requires.
"All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness, that the man of God may be fully competent, completely equipped for every good work."

You are wrong. It was written to everybody...but you have your free will...use it wisely. God is God no matter what you think about it. You can only say you do not like it or you do not believe it.
If you do not want to be with God, you do not have to. I do not know greater love than with a choice.
