Hello to you, and purrs for your pretty kitty.

Great photos, by the way... and the white fluffy dog on the next page was just adorable, too.

I didn't answer or read your last question, but here goes anyway.

If you think that your cat needs to gain a little weight (and assuming you have discussed this with your vet), kitten food is higher in protein, fat and calories than regular cat food and may be a nice way to get extra nutrition for your furry friend.

But keep in mind that, like people, some kitties are just not cut out to be fat kitties -- and will always be thin no matter what they eat. Unfortunately for me, I don't seem to have THAT problem.

Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Aww he is soo cute!! Well if you want him to fatten up a bit so he can be a healthy looking kitty, I suggest feeding him fancy feast, the cats love it and it is probably the most fattening cat food on the market. lol! oh and give him lots of treats, he will love you for it! My grandma has 2 cats about to turn 2 years old and they are each 14 pounds. She feeds them 2 times a day, canned cat food, always has dry out and always a bowl of treats out, plus water. They are super fat! But adorable!

Aww hes so cuite but he does need food just mabey a diet. Call your vet and ask if you can get him on a diet. Dont stop feeding him he would probaly die! Good Luck and he does not look over weight!

Any quality canned cat food is good, but to me your cat looks like its at optimum weight. He also looks rather young__ it may be too soon for you to worry about it's weight

I think the consensus is "Don't do it". And I still think it's animal abuse.

Hurray for you having a 12 yr old cat. Is he fat?

I think you should get another hobby.

I guess you don't get it. It's still not healthy for your cat. That you are willing to risk your cats health and life for your own selfish pleasure really shocks me and as a fellow cat owner, quite frankly disturbs me.

your cat looks precious and perfect to me. is he still growing? cats tend to get skinny when they are growing just feed him a little bit more than you have been but not too much it will hurt his tummy.

i have a cat in my house, its name is Optimus Destructicon.
one time my wife ran out of cat food so she fed the cat a can of tuna fish - needless to say, i had to buy more cat food later.

feed him kitten food with vitagravy on it. he'll love it and it will get him chunked up in a few weeks. then switch back to adult food with vitagravy. he will maintain and have extra shiny fur.
