I am wanting to put red streaks in my hair, but my hair is naturally black so it is hard to find a color that will show up and turn the streaks red. Anyone have any suggestions?

Call around a salon and find one that uses Chi Red hair color. It is made by Farouk. Whatever you do, DO NOT listen to the other people and try and do it at home. You need a trained professional to highlight the black hair with the red and it looks sharp when it is done right. Any hair coloring should never be done it home, it is less vibrant, washes out quicker and who are you going to hold responsible if something goes wrong?????????????

Bleach is tthe superb thank you to flow first until now the pink... you need to try this a pair of situations hun for darkish hair Btw I dont recomend any of this reason you're hair is gonna be dry as hay. anyhow purchase that pink dye you desire, i do no longer advise that property you get at wal-mart the colour-streak stuff that announces you may placed it on black hair. No. do no longer use that reason once you sweat it runs. So do a pair treatments of the colour you like and flow away it in for about two times the time. i'm a insurrection with the hair too.. have exciting!!!!<3

I am a hair dying addict! What you need to do is get a highlighting cap, it's like a shower cap with holes in it so you can pull out strands of your hair. Then since your hair is very dark you'll need to buy a bleaching kit and bleach the strands of hair that you want to dye red. And then, once you have bleached it, I would suggest using Punky Colors (a brand name of hair dye) to use. That's what I always use and it works great on bleached hair. Happy coloring!!!

Go to Sally's or another beauty supply store and ask the professional who works there. Black hair is hard to streak and they will recommend the best product for your hair.
