Ringworm is pretty simple to get rid of so long as you’re careful about what and whom you touch so that you don’t spread it to others.
#1 - DO NOT SCRATCH
Topical creams containing miconazole and clotrimazole can be used to kill off the fungus. Lamasil and Lotrimin are reported to work well.
Black walnut extract applied directly to each infection daily can speed healing.
Daily application of iodine will also hasten the healing of ringworm.
Daily application of calamine lotion.
Athlete’s foot and other antifungal creams can be used also.
Cover each spot with a bandage to avoid touching things and spreading the infection.
Some folks swear that clear nail polish applied to each welt will kill the ringworm.

Ring worms take a long long time to go..like months
make sure you ask your doctor for a strong cream no less put it on the skin everytime you remember not the stupid 3 times a day thats written.
You want to get rid of it quick fast and not let it spread or get larger, what you can also do is put some lemon on it as well, it will sting but it helps a great deal. Buy one at the supermarket cut it open and rub it in...Trust me, it works

Topical antifungal drugs containing miconazole and clotrimazole, available by prescription or over the counter, are used to clear up the infection. A folk remedy for ringworm is a 1:1 solution of cider vinegar and water. Another alternative is 2 drops tea tree oil mixed with an ounce of water. Fungal infections may take a while to clear up.
Terbinafine is highly effective for Tinea Corporis. It treats itching, burning, cracking, and scaling that accompany this condition. It cures most ringworm. Do not use it for the nails or scalp. Apply it once a day (morning or night) for one week. It should heal up by then or a little after.

Ringworm is NOT a worm,. it is caused by a fungus which loves to live on the skin.
You can buy over the counter remedies at the chemist, ask the pharmacist for advice on what to use.
Prescription topical creams, suspensions and lotions are also available, like Loprox, Spectazole and Oxistat.
Take care with hygeine whilst infected, use all separate towels, flannels or sponges. Wash clothes thoroughly to kill the spores which spread the infection and change bedding regularly (likewise wash well).

Easily, just go to your Doctor. In bygone days to cure head ringworm, Doctors would first have the hair shaved off, which was upsetting for a child. My father and his brother shared a secret remedy, handed down through generations, that they used without charge. I recall a pretty young girl (amongst others)coming to our home, and being cured without cutting more than a small patch where the ringworm was. She had beautiful curly hair and it would have been terrible for the child to have it cut off.
As far as I can remember (80 years ago) about the remedy was that it involved roasting some kind of cereal. - It was black and very smelly. My father would rub the paste in with his finger, and then rub his finger on his own skin, just to reassure the person or parent.

Long nails can be harbingers for bacteria, particularly if they are artificial, but they are good for scratching and starting those little foil wrapped containers which are so hard to get into.

Ringworm is a fungal infection, like athlete's foot. It can be treated with over-the-counter antifungals (the same ones used for athlete's foot, like miconazole, Tinactin, etc.)
You must treat it for weeks to get rid of it.
Good luck.
