A - Taxes that come out of a pay check. I know mine is less than I'm supposed to be making.
B - Taxes on things like cigarettes, gasoline. Did you ever notice the price of cigarettes in say NC is so much cheaper than NY? Excise tax.
C - Taxes add at each stage of the process of bringing the item to market. Very big in EUROPE (hint).
D - Ever notice that the price of a candy bar is 50 cents but when you get to the check out you are shelling our 53 cents?
E - Form 1040, 1040A, 1040EZ, etc. Mostly around April 15th each year.

I would have to answer C. Never heard of value-added tax before. Let's not give these Morons any ideas either, OK?! I think that more than a third of my check on taxes is enough already! I still call it taxation without representation, which IS highly unconstitutional. Every time my tax goes up, the people vote THEMSELVES another raise.

C: Value-added tax (VAT) is a type of sales tax. In some countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Singapore, this tax is known as "goods and services tax" or GST;

***we don't pay a VAT....in the US...when you travel abroad...this is the tax that you can get back
