Probably not a very good idea. I think that will ruin the tire, but if it's a slow leak you can fill the tire with air as you go and when you come back.

Well, you will ruin the tire. It takes 20 minutes to fix a flat, get that done. If you don't drive immediate after shooting that crap in your tire, you will have an unbalanced tire, & the car will drive like poop.
Why do you need a new tire, just leave 30 minutes early & stop at a gas station who does repairs & get it fixed!
You could have done it in the time you put this question on the site!

If you use Fix-a-Flat, you won't be able to get the tire patched. It will have to be replaced. You can use it as long as it holds air.
When you get the tire dismounted, be sure to tell them you used Fix-a-Flat. Some of those are flammable and the tire changer needs to know that -- and that he's going to get a bath in the stuff when he breaks the bead.

You can use it for a few months max. Because the "Fix-a-flat" patch starts to wear off, I guess it was because the condition I was driving in...But yes, you could drive to the wedding. Just dont forget to fix that tire A.S.A.P.

funny you asked this happened to me last week. They are meant for under 50mph, less than 50 miles. Go to your local tire sales guy and see if they'll put an old one on for a small fee. I got mine for free, but they'd probably swap yours out for $20 or so. It'll last for a few months at least.

Better to rent a car than risk your life and others on the road. Or just get the dam thing replaced. I'm sure people will understand if you're late.

I didn't know there was a time limit...I used it 3 months ago to repair a tire and I'm still driving on it. Seems to be holding just fine...

not ment to be driven past 50 mph and for periods past 20 miles - so u have to fix it , get it patched or plugged at your local service station , to plug it it takes like 10 minutes.

As little as possible... until you can get to someplace to put a new tire on.
