I don't believe this may have anything to do with the food change or leaving it outside. He may have eating something, that was laying outside, or found. Very often this is what triggers the dogs stomach. Another thing he may have something like a stomach infection, then there is no other option but to go and see the vet. If after the vets visit his upset stomach hasn't passed, you will have to have an internal scanning of his stomach, because he may off swallowed an object and cannot digest it.
I hope this may help you, just make sure you watch him up close if anything happens

Well, if he has a cold it could be from being kept outside, I have 3 dogs and they are indoor even though they are medium to large breed. If he is throwing up could be the dog food change, the weather, parvo, a number of things. Take your dog to the vet. If you can not afford a vet then check to see if the SPCA in your area can help you out.

If he was used to being inside the house, then he needs to be kept inside, especially if it is a small dog.....what is really wrong with him? He might not like the food but it should not be the cause of sickness unless the food you give him gives him diahrea. Take him to the vet so he can evaluate him since you do not really explain what is wrong with him and if you just adopted him....

i will tell you what i know from the few details that you gave...if you recently changed the food then i would change it back and see if he improves in a couple of days...look around the house and yard really good to make sure that he did not get into anything that could make him sick..another option is to go ahead and take him to the vet...they can tell you all that you need to know...they can tell if he got into poison or if he just has a virus..like humans dogs can get dehydrated so if he is sick in the way that he is vomiting or poohing you should really get him medical attention..good luck and i hope that everything turns out ok!!

you shouldn't change a dogs food all of a sudden. The change of ingredients could cause some vomiting/diarrhea. Has he had all of his vaccinations. You may want to take him to your vet anyways, just incase it's not just an upset stomach. Dogs that live outside also have more of a chance of eating something that they aren't supposed to, you may want to get him checked out.

What are his symptoms? If it's diarrhea, it may be caused by the change in diet. If the symptoms are more severe, or if you see blood in the dog's stool, he may have an more serious illness (like PArvo or HGE). You need to take some of his poop (in a Ziploc bag) to his vet and have it and him checked out. Puppies don't have fully functioning immune systems until they've had all their shots and are very vulnerable to disease.

You kind of answered your own question. You should slowly change the food, add a little new stuff into the old so his tummy gets use to it, it's called weaning. Then if left outside, there are many strange things in the air, ground, whatever, wherever, he could've eaten. Take him to a vet asap.

It could be a number of things. He may have eaten something outside that didn't agree with him. It could be a change in food and it could be something else.
It would be advisable to contact a vet for the answer this question.

in basic terms shop up his vet care and attempt to get some solid nutrition into him. His physique can combat the ailment if he has a stable immune device. And consistently confirm your domestic canine get the parvo photographs. Prevention is extra helpful than attempting to treatment it.
