The color is not so much important as the intensity and tone. If you will notice, some colors don't really match, but they go together well because of the tone of the color (warm, cool etc) It has to do with the base pigment of the paint. The other thing is intensity. Your couch sounds lovely, but how dark is the green? Does it contrast with the cherry or is it dark as well?
Go to the paint store and tell them that you need a color wheel with different tones, and then match that to your couch. Then choose a color with the same tone. Intensity is up to you- if it's a small room, you probably want to paint a light shade, but if it's a large room, you can go darker.

With the dark cherry wood furniture and the sage green couches I'm so glad that you knew to go the walls a softer cream color. You did great! I would have to agree with all the others to use bronze. Good Luck in whatever you decide.

Sounds nice. I think I would use a tint of the sage green for the walls. Go to Walmarts or a paint store and pick up some color samples. If you find one with a sage green it should have other shades of compatible color. I think a lighter shade would make a lovely contrast to your sage green sectional.

I agree that a beige or dark tan is a good choice. I also think it is a good idea to put up strips of the color to make sure of the shade you want. You could also use throw pillows with a mauve and beige to bring in the tables and wall.

Stay in the tan family. Go to Home Depot or Lowe's even Wal-Mart and grab those paint cards..Don't c green because it would not bring out the couch. No red's pink or blue. White would be too stark for it. U should be able to find something u like in the tan, beige color scheme.

you can use just about any color as long as you pull that color out with the cushions or a throw.
winter white
a pale yellow
pale orange
a lighter shade of green
go and get all colors of paint samples. Anything you might like and then come home and tape it near the sectional and tables an you'll decide which one you like best.

Spiced Bounty made by Sherwin Williams, it is a sort of khaki-brown, hint of yellowish and greenish. It would compliment the sage and cherry wood very well.

I would go with a dark tan or even a very faint sage.
